Jared started culinary school at 23 with an insatiable appetite for food. He quickly realized that it was an all-or-nothing career and jumped in headfirst. He gained his first real chef experience at Edgewood Country Club, where he learned competition skills from his mentor David Daniot C.E.C. After graduation, Jared became a Sous Chef at the Birmingham Athletic Club before venturing into public restaurants to gain more experience. He has worked in various independent restaurants, wine bars, catering facilities and private chef services. Despite not winning the "International Shellfish Competition," Jared persevered and eventually competed in Fox's Hell's Kitchen, finishing in 4th place. He continued as the executive chef at a Yacht club on the eastside of Detroit and Gordon Ramsay personally invited him to participate in an All-Stars season of Hell’s Kitchen. Jared has helped open some of the best restaurants in southeast Michigan and he now offers unique private dining experiences where he collaborates with guests on menus. He has cooked at prestigious golf courses all over the world, including The Masters tournament. Jared is currently the culinary director for Ventures Events, organizing food events across the country.
